Highlights
Hidden Beauty of the Iya Valley
The Iya Valley, famous for its Kazurabashi vine bridge, is a remote region nestled deep in the mountains of Tokushima Prefecture. Renowned for its breathtaking scenery and traditional way of life, it has been selected as one of Japan’s three most secluded places. This precious area offers a rare glimpse into the harmonious coexistence of people and nature. As the village is tucked away in lush forests, it is difficult to access without a car or other private transportation. Here, you can fully immerse yourself in the timeless charm of Shikoku’s hidden valley.

Experience a tranquil night at a traditional temple lodging on sacred Mount Koya
A temple stay in Mount Koya is one of the most special experiences you can have in Japan. Temple lodgings offer an excellent chance to experience the simple, traditional lifestyle of Japanese Buddhist monks. Rise in the morning and join the resident monks for a prayer ceremony.

Spend three nights in Japan’s ancient capital, Kyoto
In addition to famous landmarks such as Fushimi Inari Taisha with its thousands of vermilion torii gates, the scenic beauty of Arashiyama, and the historic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, this tour also takes you to hidden autumn foliage spots in northern and western Kyoto. These carefully selected sites remain largely undiscovered by overseas visitors, offering a more tranquil and authentic experience. You will stroll through the Higashiyama district, where the atmosphere of ancient Kyoto is most vividly preserved, in the quiet early morning hours before the crowds arrive. Visiting at this serene time of day allows you to truly feel the timeless charm of the old capital. Beyond sightseeing, the itinerary also includes opportunities to immerse yourself in Japanese culture. Experience the elegance of a traditional tea ceremony, and visit a local sake brewery to learn about the heritage and craftsmanship of sake-making—an enriching encounter with Japan’s artisanal traditions.
