Imperial Palace (Nijubashi Bridge)
Visit this place, the center of development of Edo-Tokyo, which was once the Edo Castle in the early modern period and has since become the Imperial Palace.

Tsukiji
Tsukiji, an area known as "Tokyo's Kitchen" for many years. Even after the market relocated, the Outer Market remains bustling with its many shops offering food and food-related items. Walk along the alleys throughout the Outer Market and enjoy shopping for goods and tasting local food.

Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street
Senso-ji, Tokyo's oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as "Nakamise" stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of shops.

Asakusa
After sightseeing at Asakusa, the English-speaking tour conductor will accompany customers to Ueno Station.

Nomura Residence, Nagamachi Samurai District
Visit a former residence of a samurai family from the Kaga Domain. Admire the traditional architecture and gaze at the beautiful Japanese garden.

Kenrokuen Garden
This beautiful garden is considered one of the top three Japanese gardens. It offers amazing seasonal views all year round.

Higashi Chaya-gai
Wooden-latticed exteriors of teahouses line both sides of the stone-paved street here where something from the Edo period (1603-1868) still lingers in the air. This area is an Important Traditional Building Preservation District.

Hakuza Honten
Feel free to purchase handicrafts, accessories, cosmetics, and other items made with gold leaf. *It is also possible to disembark at Hakuza Honten without going to Kanazawa Station.

Nijo Castle
A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for the Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see.

Kinkaku-ji Temple
A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.

[Regular] Kyoto Imperial Palace
See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago.

[Kyoto Imperial Palace Closed Days] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine
Kitano Tenmangu Shrine is the substitute for Kyoto Imperial Palace on days it is closed to visitors. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.

Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine
Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of some 40,000 inari-jinja shrines located all over Japan. The bright red Senbon Torii gates are a must-see attraction.

Sanjusangen-do Temple
The view of Kyoto from the World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu-dera is superb. The historic shopping lane that leads to the temple adds to a wonderful experience.

    - After the Tokyo Morning Tour ends, head to Ueno Station. There will be an accompanying English-speaking assistant until Ueno Station. After arriving at Kanazawa Station, customers are to make their own way to the hotel and check in.
    - The arrival time in Kanazawa may be around 16:30 to past 19:00 depending on the reserved Shinkansen conditions and other reasons.

  • [Important Notes/Supplements: About Day 3 Itinerary (Transfer from Kanazawa to Kyoto)]
    - After checking out from the hotel in Kanazawa, customers are to make their own way to Kanazawa Station. After arriving at Kyoto Station, customers will be welcomed by an English-speaking assistant who will assist in boarding.
    - The arrival time in Kyoto may be around 12:30 to past 14:00 depending on the reserved Shinkansen conditions and other reasons.
  • [Important Notes/Supplements: About Day 4 Itinerary (1-Day Kyoto Tour)]
    - The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to visitors on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. If the closed day falls on the 25th, the tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple. (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event)
    - Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
    - During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 15-16), traffic restrictions will be in place.
    - Connections from this tour can be made to the "Kyoto Maiko Dinner" and "Kyoto Night Tour."
    - Participants will walk from the parking lot to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (about 15 min one-way). Thank you for your understanding.
    - The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.

  • [Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Luggage Delivery]
    - Large luggage such as suitcases will be transported separately from the Day 1 meeting location (Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo Shinjuku Main Building) to the hotel in Kyoto. Please leave plenty of time to bring your luggage and head to the meet-up.
    *Please prepare an overnight package for the 2 nights in Kanazawa.
    - As it is transported separately on Day 4 from Kyoto to Tokyo, please prepare an overnight package for the 1 night in Kyoto.
    *In regards to the luggage transport service for the return trip, while delivery is scheduled for the same day, it may be next day due to shipping company conditions. In such cases, it will be sent separately from Kyoto hotels on Day 4 and arrive in Tokyo the following day. At the time of booking, please indicate the contact details of the drop-off hotel. Please note that luggage delivery service is limited to hotels and ryokan within the Tokyo 23 wards where customers will be having their accommodation. Luggage cannot be sent to a private residence. Also, the delivery service may not be available for some small hotels. Refunds will not be issued even if customers do not use the delivery service.
